The mission of My Circle of Friends is to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs by providing inclusive programs in music, art, sports, life skills, and social skills through the dedicated efforts of volunteers.

Sports

ACEing Autism Tennis at Newark Academy

MCoF is proud to collaborate with the ACEing Autism program at Newark Academy! As volunteers, we aid kids with special needs in basic tennis skills, such as the forehand/backhand pass. We also play games with them during each session to build meaningful connections with the kids.

Special Olympic Figure Skating

MCoF has also collaborated with the figure skating program at Special Olympics! Volunteers provide support by cheering on skaters at practices and events. Through our support, the kids are able to give their best in figure skating practices!

Community Events

Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities (LACD)

My Circle of Friends recently joined forces with the Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities (LACD) so that we could help with their summer party this year at the Livingston Pool. We will keep working with LACD whenever the opportunity arises so that we can coordinate programming and events, meet together, and improve our mutual understanding
